Our Story

I built Kennl because of one dog.

He is my everything. Not in the way people casually say it - I mean the kind of love where leaving for a weekend comes with a knot in your stomach, a hundred voice notes to whoever is watching him, and absolutely zero ability to actually switch off and enjoy yourself.

I looked around for a platform I could trust. Somewhere I could find a sitter who had been properly vetted, who genuinely loved dogs, and who I could feel good about handing him over to. Something like what exists overseas. I couldn't find it. Not here. Not in South Africa.

So I built one.

Kennl started as something I made for myself and the people I know. A place where trust isn't a nice-to-have - it's the whole point. Where every sitter is verified before they ever meet your dog. Where you can go away, be present, and actually enjoy it - because you know your dog is loved.
